This publication is intended for use as a one-to-one teaching resource aimed at improving numeracy in Year 7. Ideally the pupil should work with the coach completing one page at each session. The coach could be a teacher, a learning support assistant, a parent or even a sixth form student who is considering a career in teaching.
The topics should be completed in the order in which they appear. Every activity begins with a page of notes for the coach. It is a good idea to read this in advance so that you have all the necessary equipment.
