Initial Assessment (Welsh Language Version)

This test assesses reading, spelling, punctuation and maths and provides a clear indication of basic skills need. This version has been developed to align with the National Standards for Adult Literacy and Numeracy (2000) and the Welsh version (2004) from Entry 1 to Level 1. It is intended for any situation where it would be useful to have an indication of an individual’s overall level in terms of literacy and/or numeracy, and can be used with groups as well as individuals.
