Phase Five - Numbers Count

123

The new Basic Skills Agency Numbers Count campaign promotes the importance of good numeracy skills in a positive and entertaining way. It includes TV and radio adverts, posters and press advertising in local newspapers across Wales. The target audiences for the campaign are parents of children aged between 3 and 7 years and adults who might need to improve their own numeracy skills.

We hope that this new campaign will encourage people in Wales to talk about numeracy and its importance. Two free packs are available* - one for parents to use with their children, and one for adults to improve their own maths skills.

*These packs have been funded by the Welsh Assembly Government. If you live outside Wales, you can order copies, by credit card, at cost price (£5.00 per pack) by calling 0800 123 123.

If you would like any further information please email Ruth Yarnit, Senior Press and Promotion Officer at ruthy@basic-skills.co.uk
